Hello all and welcome to my blog!
I go by the name of Savvy and hope you can see past my scatterbrained posts and find something that you can relate to on this page.
I'll tell you a little about myself first:
I grew up in Stockton, California (the foreclosure capital of the world) where I came to learn so many incredible lessons about life, humility, and the importance of self-love and personal growth. Upon leaving the valley, I went off to study at an amazing institution.
I am a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara and hold a bachelor's degree in both Film and Media Studies and Theater.
I am an aspiring actress and deeply admire performers that raise the bar when it comes to their craft. I hope to someday perform on a massive stage where
I am deeply interested in feminist politics, thought, race theory, film theory, performance studies, art, relationships of power, and history. In my later life I would love to eventually hold a Master's Degree or P.h.D. and be able to pass on the knowledge I've gained over the years.
I truly believe that all of the incredible things I've learned intersect in many places and am beyond grateful for my education and the beautiful people that have impacted my life.
I tend to blog a lot about oceans (Because I am deeply attached to the water in a spiritual way), cartoons from the 90s, an intricate variety of my music taste (rap, soul, r&b, country, punk), my own personal critiques, and a slew of other hilarious and random posts. I'm 1000% positive that the majority of people who follow me are confused by the capricious and scattered nature of posts...But I guarantee there's something you'll find here that we can connect over.
